How do I add a new employee?

Navigate to People > Add Employee. Fill in their details, set their start date, and they will receive an invitation email to complete their profile.

How do employees request leave?

Employees can request leave from their dashboard by clicking "Request Leave", selecting the dates and type, and submitting for approval. Managers receive instant notifications.

Can I import employees from a spreadsheet?

Yes! Go to Settings > Import Data and upload a CSV file. We provide a template with all the required fields. The import wizard will guide you through mapping columns.

How do I change my billing plan?

Go to Settings > Billing and click "Manage Billing" to open the billing portal. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of your billing period.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use bank-level encryption (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest), store data in European data centres, and are fully GDPR compliant. We undergo regular security audits and penetration testing.

Do you offer phone support?

Phone support is available on our Forest plan. All plans include email support with responses within 4 business hours during UK business days.

What happens when I reach my employee seat limit?

You will see a notification when trying to add new employees. Ask your admin to upgrade the plan from Settings > Billing, or deactivate unused employee accounts to free up seats.

Can managers approve leave on behalf of other managers?

Admins can approve or edit any leave request. Managers can only approve leave for their direct reports. If a manager is unavailable, an admin can step in.

How do I reset my password?

Click "Forgot password?" on the login page and enter your email address. You will receive a reset link within a few minutes. The link is valid for 24 hours.

Does Grove work on mobile devices?

Yes, Grove is fully responsive and works on all modern mobile browsers. You can also install it as a Progressive Web App (PWA) for a native-like experience on iOS and Android.
